First post! I made a user name because of this thread. I've been lurking, learning for a while now but this brought me out of the shadows. I'm in Fayetteville and I would be totally down to meet other Buellers. I know they're here too, aside from the folks who already posted. I've seen a sweet red 1125cr, a lightning, talked to a dude with a black lightning long, someone recently bought my buddy's firebolt, and I've seen a few lightnings on the base. I myself had a blue cityx with a jardine and k&n. Unfortunately I crashed it two weeks ago and broke my wrist. I'm very near the end of the process of buying an xb12scg. It'll be a while before I can ride it though. I also have an ecmspy cable and the program, but don't know anything more than a tps reset. So anyway, I'm Eric and I'd be happy to meet anyone that wanted to. Just can't do group rides for a few weeks, huge bummer.
 
I was out riding around Mountain Island Lake and Lake Norman on Sunday - and suddenly felt like I was in neutral rolling on the throttle coming around a turn...

It was a good thing I taught my friend how to hook up a trailer! He got my truck and trailer and picked me up. This is exactly what I mean though - it's good to know other riders with resources to help out.

So I guess I need to order a new belt! Also - I just got word today... I now have a job in Charlotte, so I'll be moving down for good the weekend of April 20-21st. Looking forward to meeting some of you!
 
I'm sittin' on the borderline VA/NC. 45 min. from greensboro. Hour and fifteen from R/D/C/CH
 
you need that extra large right hand air scoop especially with the warm weather coming
 
just got my bike back from kevin drummer, after spending the day with him and just learning ****, the man is straight up, and a great person to work with, and makes quality ****....my bike ran like crap and he made it freaking purr no lie...and the drummer exhaust is an absolute must, drope 13 lbs on my bike and about a **** ton of increase in power, also remapped it. i HIGHLY suggest anyone to this man, hes a straight shooter and down right great dude...
 
What city byrdock? I'm just west of Apex. I have two Buells. I'm usually in the Raleigh area since I go to school up there. I have an XB Lightning and an 1125CR. I know a few Buell owners in the Raleigh area but none of them are on the board and I've seen a few riding around that I haven't been able to talk to.

Still need to try and get a Raleigh area meetup TACP since we missed each other at Bikefest last year.
 
Vance580, I'm between Angier and Lillington out in the country. I saw someone going thru Lillington yesterday on a red CR around 7pm, was it you?
 
No mine is black. I know a couple people with Buells in the Raleigh area but none with CR's. Know a few XB's and 1125R's. I wonder who it was. I'm actually in New Hill so I'm between Sanford and Apex but more towards Apex so we aren't too far from each other. I ride towards Angier sometimes when I take the back way into Raleigh. Definitely got to set up a meet up for Raleigh area Buellers somewhere.
 
Let me know if you get a Raleigh meet started. I never get to make any meets but I keep trying.
 
Any of you guys in the Charlotte area ever go to bike night at Twin Peaks in concord?
I saw crazy looking chop and bob XB there, didn't get a chance to talk to the guy though.
they also have bikini babes ;)
 
Just so you guys know, Mac's Speed shop on South Blvd does a great bike night. I was the only Buell rider there this past Wednesday, but I'd love to see a few more guys there. I met a few other sport bike riders and vintage Honda guys who were great to talk to, so it's not always the stereotypical Harley riders. I'll most likely be there Wednesday again. Black and Gold Firebolt with NY plates - be sure to introduce yourself.
 
Hello there. New guy here. I just picked up my XB9R and really enjoy it. I know this is a super old post, but, i am in NC. Indian Trail Matthews area/Charlotte.
 
I'm in Youngsville. Just north of raleigh.. i think a meet near raleigh would be awesome. Gotta get my baby back up and running first though..
