Ok, i really need some advice from the guys that have been around here the longest. I have an 09 Buell Firebolt XB12r with a Voodoo exhaust equevelant to a mainstreem moded stock can, like a hawk or a Drummer single tip/exit pipe, and the breather reroute mod/highflow intake. I still have my stock ECM and im only running at 76 hp. I need an ECM that will compensate for the race set up I have. What kind will work for me, and where can I find a premapped ECM to get my bike ballenced to its set up.[confused] or what are the steps to take to get what I need. In other words what would you do in my shoes?

I still have little faith in EBR. They are a race accessory company, NOT a street bike accessory company.

theoctpuss can guide you through tuning it yourself.

Voodoo's are different so a drop in map wouldn't be the same.

It will, but it can be way better. They run WAY rich from the factory. MPG will improve dramatically after a tune

You could ship your ECM off and have it tuned to your specific mods. There are some that are sending theirs to Randy Hawkins to get tuned. I dont think they would have a problem setting it up for the VooDoo instead of the Hawk. But I could be wrong.

You should buy a wide band sensor and ECMspy cable and contact theoctopus or GB. They can talk you through the procedure

They have a drummer tuned ecm.
EBR has really stepped up the game to help us all out.
I personally won't adjust a timing map with ecm spy the risk is to high.
Fuel map will gain you some but there is power to be had in timing as well.

Voodoo's are not drummers
