i put a new battery in my 05 xb9r. the battery was charged and ran fine a week ago. tried to start it today and it had no power. like an moron i jumped it with my jeep(and my jeep was running). now it runs terrible like only one cylinder is firing. i unplugged the battery and plugged it back in hoping it might reset it. it made it better but its still not running right. its not running smooth and it sound like its popping and it backfires under full throttle.i checked all the fuses and they are all good. does anyone know what i messed up.

When my battery died I jumped it and it ran horrible, put a new battery in and it was fine. The other battery didn't seem to have enough juice. Check you plugs they may have fouled also. Hope it helps.

I may be way off. But if the ECM lost power wouldnt the RAM be wiped clean in turn making the ECM go into a "re-learn" type of mode?
