Changing grips and I've found my oem tube is cracked all over the place. Does anyone have a good condition throttle tube I can use for the XB12R?

Thanks in advance for any help or links or whatever.

Jay

Thanks, but I really don't want to go that route - Al already sold me another complete set of grips. I need the inner throttle tube to install them that doesn't have an OEM grip on the outside. I already have that piece (link above) - not buying a second one when the whole idea (as advised by ASB) was to save money buying the aftermarket set of grips instead of just the OEM left one (the only grip that *needs* replacing in this case). Buying another right side OEM grip equates to purchasing two sets of grips just to fix a damaged left grip.

Thanks for the R6 tip....there was something on an old thread about the older R6S tube being identical (not needing to be dremeled) to our stock tube - but I'm not sure which motion pro model equates to either one of these in this case.

I'll keep looking/asking...

Yeah - I know what it means. I was just making a play on words for when he asked me to try again on my much more complicated post. All good.

Sandro from 5-Odro has been working with me as well, so I think I have a way forward with motion pro. There are a few guys on the fb page that might help me out as well. I think I'll get this sorted, but once I do get a new throttle tube, I'll report back on simplicity of install for anyone else searching for the same information.

Thanks!

Sweet - thanks to everyone here....I'll wait until tomorrow and see if I hear from Jeff or Paul...nice to have a second option!

Now if you guys knew a secret, light-speed healing compound for smashed clavicles I would be in heaven!

Posting this up for reference just in case another new-to-the-XB searcher is looking for the same info. The Motion pro 01-0094 throttle tube is a drop-in replacement for our stock tube. All you have to do is pop out the end cap, install the grip of your choice and fit it into the switch gear housing. Probably a good time to adjust your throttle cables and do a TPS reset as well.

Mine went in super easily today.
