Need polishing help.

So I got All the plastics off and everything masked off. Sprayed it with aircraft grade paint and based coat stripper and it's not pulling it off. I've only sprayed the passenger rear set. I resorted to using a drimel with a wire wheel to get the paint off. After the paints off I'm going to sand everything smooth. And the wire wheel isn't creating any heat. But would feather not have to do that to the frame and advice please and thank you

Is it paint or powder coat?
I really think the frame is powder coat, but I may be wrong.
A few here have repainted themselves so hopefully they chime in.

Polishing aluminum is going to create heat and a lot of it. Scotch-brite pads (disc type) will take the paint off, but it will leave swirl marks.

There are no shortcuts. Start coarse and go fine. There is a reason polished part a are cool. Good luck.

Yup I'm just sanding away hopefully I'll be done before spring lol it's gonna take awhile
