need race ecm

OK so i recently messed my race ecm up and trying to figure out the best thing to do. I'm having a hard time finding another race ecm. so does anyone know where i can get one or should i just buy a regular stock ecm and remap it.

Unless you luck up and find one specific to your year/model, probably will have to settle with an '03-'07 ECM and match maps & other settings to a Race EEPROM.

well i wasnt using my head correctly and crossed charger wires to charge my battary. i felt like a complete idiot afterwords

so if i find another race ecm it has to be specific to the year of my bike?

As long as it's '03-'07, it doesn't really matter the year OR stock/race ECM. As long as the ECM's in that range, you can burn whatever EEPROM (software) you want - whether it be a stock or race.

as well, erik buell racing will have race ecm for your buell. two options... one that is not changeable and one that is.

I just installed the Erik Buell ECM (the pre-programmed one) and a drummer can. Happy to report the bike actually runs better than before AND sounds awesome.
