i know it is common to have a little oil in the air box over time but i just put new seals on the front rocker box and now it is spewing oil out the breather tube and i believe that the umbrella plug is in the correct place, i am having trouble figuring out what the cause is because it has never done this before so it must have been something i did during the install of the new seals and the bike only has 4,000 miles on it so i would think that any sort of excessive blow by would be out of the question. Any thoughts or input would be very helpful i am at a loss

Have you thought of upgrading to the XB covers? By doing this you totally eliminate the umbrella valves and go to pcv valves that seem to work much better.

not really because i never had a problem before i replaced the seals so this afternoon i plan on opening it back up to look and see if i made any errors hopefully there is an obvious error other wise i will post some pictures to see if anyone on here see something i don't
