Need some help......... Fuel Pump

So I was putting new 0-rings on BuellChicks fuel pump this afternoon and the short hardline coming off the pump snapped off [mad]

So my question to anyone who may know is "Can I buy just a new outlet or do I need to buy the entire pump?"

im sure theres something you could do.but some pics of the inside would be helpful.i have fuel line repair kits at work,i could make a new line.or someone around you may have the same kit

The fuel line itself is fine it is just that small tip the the line fits to that is busted off......

my plan would be to put a ford or chevy quick connect fitting on the pump side then a matching end on your fuel line.or just make you a new fuel line.i would need to see the inside of the pump though

in the manual its referred to as a "fuel supply stud." This leads me to believe it is available as a separate part. If i had a parts catalog i would try to look it up for you but I dont.

The mods site has a searchable parts manual for an '03 bolt which would be the same for the lightning, I'm at work, otherwise I would look it up.

I am work too, hope I don't have to drop $100 on a used fuel pump, had an extra that I just sold not to long ago too [smirk]

i tried that but nothing can be downloaded from the mods site. it says forbidden access (flooding). maybe its just me idk.

I think the flooding message is because the server can't keep up. Try sowing down while navigating I kept getting the (flooding) message the other day while trying to get a manual for the wife's blast.. I actually took the time to figure out if I didn't click through the pages too fast I could get to the downloads..

i sold a fabricated fuel pump remover tool to kyle_dewald, maybe he'll let u borrow it or something if u have to remove it [smirk]

just wondering if you ever figured this out xtremelow? just happened to mine. I had a spare fuel pump that wasn't working and tried to get that one out and broke that off too. I think they must be pressed in there
