Where can I pick a good pair up and how hard are they to swap out? Am I better off just paying somebody? It's an s1 with inverted forks

might still be active H-D dealer #. ASB should have what you need. depending on mileage and condition of fork fluid i would also replace the slide bushings. AZmidget posted nice vid on here several months ago with walk-thru of how it's done. my recommendation? configure your S-1 so that front wheel off the ground....bike stable...remove the fork tubes yourself....take them and the new replacement parts to any shop familiar with showa cartridge fork tubes and have them do the seal and bushing replacement. others well intended will suggest DIY job but i'm telling you it is NOT for the faint of heart.

The internet has no idea of your experience, your confidence, or your abilities, or what your toolbox looks like.

That question can only be answered by yourself.

Personally I think they are super easy to install, and I hate paying someone to do I job I can do. But I have a very nice toolbox:p

There are parts links up there^^^^, e-bay, amazon, etc.

You tube and the Buell forum has videos to show you how, As well as helpful people who can answer specific questions.

It's an S1 so it probably doesn't have showa forks. More likely WP. The parts for WP's are more expensive and harder to find.
