Bought a new bike! Drove over 850 miles round trip from Elkton MD to Medina OH to get it. Paid a fair price for it and I love it! I put Lightning pegs on it on Sunday after I got it unloaded from the truck.

The bike came with the stock airbox cover, passenger pegs, service manual, owner's manual, stock air filter(k&n installed), and an unopened k&n recharge kit.

Also, I picked up a Buell folding brim hat on EBay.

I finally got to wash it today, it desperately needed it. I also adjusted the clutch and took it for a very chilly 7 mile ride. Planning on changing the plugs as well as the oil in both holes. Passenge pegs need reinstalled for it to pass MD's state safety inspection but I need to pick up a couple bolts for that.

Thanks Jesse! The PO did a breather reroute with a filter and "catch can" and I will most certainly be removing that and dumping that **** straight to the ground.

Also he cut the internal airbox to match the scoops in the external airbox and I need to pull everything apart and assess that situation to see where I want to go with it. With a stock exhaust I can hear it sucking air through the intake more than I can hear it pushing air out the exhaust.

Loki, that is from www.cycleshell.com , I got the "cruiser" model just to have a little more room. I really like it and my wife likes me not putting the bike into our furnished basement aka: the middle boys room.

It seems like the PO got wax or something on the frame and swing arm cause they have some white staining on them, I need to find something to remove that **** and make it look 100% again.

mr. clean magic eraser, wet it and lightly wipe over the area, works for getting crap off my frame. would try it in a small area first before tackling a larger one. rinse thoroughly afterwards, it can leave a white residue if not done.

that's a beauty neil.....happy for you... and i like the hard-floor tent garage for it. when you decide to put new tires on it bring up the wheels and new tires and i'll mount and balance them for you. OR if you want to do the wrenching just ride it up, remove the wheels in the shop and i'll do them.

I pulled my airbox cover to get a look at the inner airbox mod the PO performed. I also pulled the K&N breather filter and drain valve from the breather reroute. Also confirmed a fully intact interactive exhaust valve that I'll have to pull after I pass inspection.

If anyone wants this K&N breather filter you can have it for the cost to ship it or pick it up locally.

Man, that's a good looking setup. You seem to have a handle on all the updates and upgrades.

Where are you going to let the breather drip when you reroute the hose? I've been tossing around the idea of routing it under the seat and out behind the exhaust...

Installed my passenger peg brackets to get ready for my inspection on Friday.

On Sunday I removed my interactive exhaust valve and disabled it with the EcmDroid app. Everything seemed good then though I didn't take it for a ride at that time. I fired it up today and it started fine but backfired a couple times while warming up. I wanted to go on a short ride and the leaving my development it sender way underpowered but right when u got to the still sign it seemed to "wake up" and everything seemed great after that. I'm thinking it got loaded up with fuel being started a few times on Sunday but never really going for a ride. I rode about 7 miles today, I'll take it for another ride tomorrow and see how it acts.
