Hey Guys and Gals, I need a part number verification for the neutral indicator switch on an 07 XB12. I think I remember seeing someone post HD 33900-99 on one of the neutral switch threads, but the Harley dealer here (not a Buell dealer) says that is not correct, that the part is Buell specific, but he didn't offer me the part number. The Harley dealer one town over (also not a Buell dealer) says it is correct. Neither of them have one in stock that I can look at. The service manual has no part number listed and I don't have a parts catalog. I just don't want to order an indicator switch online or from the dealer that won't work. Any idea where to get a parts catalog would be great too, pdf if possible, www.Buellmods.com is currently offline). Any help would be appreciated. Happy Holidays and thanks in advance! Baja

squidbuellie, Thanks for the reply! Ya know I wondered when I took it out what there really was that could go wrong with it. Doesn't it simply ground the starter interlock and dash light closing the circuit? It looks like new, no corrosion on either end, connector fits tight to terminal, but it is coated in Syn Mobil 1 V-Twin oil. Every time I roll the ball or press it down "clean" oil comes out. Would the oil keep it from conducting? This may be wrong, but I tried to test for continuity with the ball pressed in and had none.

I shall try your carb cleaner idea tomorrow. I hope it works and you saved me $15.00. If so I owe you a beer, 2 pints of Guiness, OR 8 Budwiesers = $15... your choice! Baja
