i have a 2009 buell xb12r firbolt the neutral light is not comeing on i got into a wreck couple weeks ago and i got the bike back and the light wont come on but it will go in netural
 
it might be the neutral switch. download the manual at the top and look it up to see how to test it.
 
Behind the front belt/drive pulley need to alter a wrench or grind down a socket to get to it.If you don't want to remove the pulley.To remove the pulley, You will need to loosen the rear axle pinch allen bolt underneath the rear pulley frame area and the axle at least 8 turns. The Safety switch is up on the Clutch lever perch.Take the pos., Terminal off the battery if you work in the pulley area .If you have the Tools you can take the (left hand Threaded nut) off the pulley IT's ON TIGHT so a air wrench and Quality socket take your time also check for chafed wires and the Torque specs are in the Manuals Top of the page.*Jimi
