Awesome man! Those things scream! Throw a video up if you're able to, i cant be the only one who wants to hear that thing.

This will be my fourth smoker. I'll post a sound video when the new chambers get put on. The r5 is a piston ported motor versus the reed valve motors that the rd's were. My first r5 but have owned an rd350, rd400 and a kawasaki s2.

still 2 of the R5's running around here. great bikes. speaking of which....if anyone wants to get into the screaming 2-stroke scene for not a whole lot of $ i have a nice clear title 74 RD250 in my shop in the "smoker section" that i'm going to cut loose. has chambers but stock exhaust included along with free blue RD250 parts bike. not junk price but not expensive either. email me if interested. regards, john

Cool, had a few smoker's myself.

1971 R5 350
1973 RD 350
1973 Gt750 water buffalo
1985 RZ 350 KR Replica

Miss those days, some fun bikes.

Congrats, post them pics when done!

Man you're a Lunatic....lol. Those are some serious bikes! My buddy whom I got the R5 from has a 73 H1 in amazing shape if anyone is interested. Denco chambers and stock, new original paint (green/yellow).

Lunatic: He is located south of Rochester,NY. Talked to him today and his bottom dollar is $3500. If you're interested I'll have him send me pics and more info.
