Just picked up Aug 11' issue of Cycle World for the 1190RS article. Erik actually states their working towards mass market prices in a caption where he's talking to the author!!! awesome article.

Yeah he stated a similar sentiment about wanting to someday help the working man have a sweet bike without breaking the bank because he's been there before, that was in an AMA journal issued a few months back, he was the cover page and main article. Take that HD!! Lol

I think I have that issue too. He's been in the May and August issue for Cycle world so far as well. I like the quote in Aug 11' Cycle World "It makes a Ducati 848 seem like a truck." haha. Impressive!

Geoff May gave myself and a couple of guys from Indy some certain inside information on the RX that I'm not so at liberty to share. Just be ready to be wowed at what you can get for gsxr1000 pricing ;)

Dude. you cant fucking hold out on that info, spill the beans man before we revoke you membership

I'm excited! Noone, how did you get that hookup? Did you go to Mid-america? I got an e-mail from Erik saying they were going to be there.

noone1569, don't try to pull a youknowwhom about having a claim and not proving it.....

Hmm, spoke to Geoff in the hot pits on Sunday

Stated that a new model is coming out, as we all know, RX . . should be 1190 drive train, no carbon, no magnesium wheels, no ohlins suspension, and affordable.

When he builds them we will buy them.
And really HD doesn't care, they want nothing to do with this market.
Which is sad cause there is alot of money to be made.

But now we can get a rev happier mill and maybe some mechanics that will actually care to learn what they are doing

That's what a few articles and interviews with Eric have suggested to get the sale price affordable. If it's (1190RS) successful on the track and the RX is around 13-18K I think it will sell and I will buy one.
