Nice, a Perfect match. [up] The D&D looks great on the bike. BTW, Have you got a couple bolts about to fall out of your undertail in that 3rd pic?

I bet those are the longer bolts that used to hold the foot peg brackets on the seat rail, and if they are they are not threaded all the way down to the head...

So he needs shorter bolts.:p

Why not just removed the bolts?

Can't imagine it'd do any harm to just lose them all together.

I just leave my bolts out since they are so long. No need for them so they just sit in the old tool box incase I need to mount up the rear pegs.

That's what I did too.

Jakexb12r - How do you like that Icon helmet? I am in the market for a new lid. I live in Phoenix, so I need something that'll get some good air flow.

the icon gets good airflow, its noticibly cooler as you get moving but pretty muggy sitting still... as any helmet has been. as for the bolts i just leave them in cuz i dont wan any rust to form, water gets thrown up on that undertail. ill prob just get some short ones but as for now im leavin the stockers in.

i believe helmetharbour (mebbe no U) is in the phoenix area
they have video reviews of some helmets (been in the market myself)
and they rated the Shoei X11, and the new Bell Star series as the best for venting

anyways
had to sign up to post this, and wow what a good match on OP helmet+bike

I have the Icon Domain 2 mechanica helmet. Love the look, get all kinds of compliments...and there are 6 different air vents to play with. Just wish it was a little more quiet. Have a Shoei too. Just a little older. For the bright sunny days though I usually grab the Icon. With the chromed out visor you cant go wrong.;)

jakexb12r...you notice your pipes are bluing there. You do any other mods to that beautiful bike? Open air box? K&N? Did you get it tuned? Looks like running lean. Could just be the camera. just lookin out.[smirk]

Nice bike. Love what you've done.

they rated the Shoei X11, and the new Bell Star series as the best for venting

I have the Shoei X-11, and it breathes as if it were alive [up][up]

Hey Jake...hit up Xoptiinside....makes all the diff when getting doing mods and needing tuned. Works magic. D&D's look mean too....
