I just picked up my beautiful '09 Midnight Black and cherrybomb xb12r. I absolutely fell in love with it on the ride home...(actually when i first saw it in rl but also on the ride home) However, it needs to be louder, which is being taken care of with a d&d, and i would like to strip it down some to shave weight and make it not look so stock. make it look like its race ready if you know what i mean. I already took the passenger pegs off... now what?

for the rear, you have to take your plastic off, and remove all those screws including the ones underneath. You should remove your passenger pegs, belt guards and all of the reflectors [up]

Congrats and welcome to the buell family!

sweet, thank you guys i took the reflectors off along with the belt covers and it really cleaned up the rear. I love the fact that our bikes dont have a cheeze grater to get rid of.

It wont save weight, but take off all the warning stickers. I hate em! Welcome to the club
