hey all

finally got my first buell.05firebolt xb12r wicked excited. 12k for miles and has a d@d exhaust other than that if appears to be stock. it did come with a wiseco fuel controller. having said that i do get a slight hessitation between 4-6k rpms. nothing to major but i can def. notice it. also crusing through town just holding the throttle at the same spot sometimes it flutters.....(if that makes sence) also..... when its not fully warmed up, sometimes taking off from a stop it will almost die but if i pull the clutch in and give it a quick rev then go its fine.... help?

Check your ECM. Does it say "Race" on it? You may want to get one to match that pipe. You'll love it!

Lots of other options that I'm sure people will chime in on, but thats the easiest.

Welcome to the forum! Great people, and lots of good info here on the search bar:)

Hi xbuellr, I could only find the general installation manual for that product. Is it true that the Wiseco Fuel Controller connects directly to the fuel injectors, and there is no other harness connection (besides ground)? Just curious.

The manual I found doesn't mention anything about the O2 sensor, but it does use the term "Open Loop" in several places. I am trying to figure out how the controller plays nicely with the O2 feedback correction by the ECM.[confused]
I am not saying this is a problem - just trying to understand so proper advice can be offered!

The WisecoTuning Guide didn't have your exact problem scenario, but it's worth taking a look to see what you can adjust.
