Hey Everyone!
I'm a proud, new owner of a black 2003 Lightning XB9S with 2,700 original miles! I bought the Lightning at the end of December as a graduation gift to myself. I've only had the bike for a couple of months but I've already been bitten by the mod bug! So far my bike has:
- New Michelin Pilot 2CT's
- HID's with dual headlight mod
- 1125CR Clubman bars with bar end mirrors
- Firebolt rider pegs
- Shortened front signals
- Frame pucks
- Breather mod
- Drilled out inner air box with K&N filter
- Factory Ulysses right side scoop
- Hawk Performance muffler (in the mail from Randy)
- Race ECU (from Randy)
- Chopped cheese grater (from Randy)

I've been lurking on the forums for a bit and decided to officially introduce myself. I've already learned so much about Buells through this awesome forum! Keep up the great work everyone and ride safe!

- Tim

What part of California are in in? I'm in San Diego and we have a little group that's a mix of sport, touring and cruisers. We do some fun little rides and are planning on some nice Central and Northern Cal rides in the late spring early summer.

Alfatango1, Bolt, and Pockets - I currently live and go to school in Sacramento. But I'm also in Marin County a lot, which is my hometown. So basically NorCal. And Alfa, I'm definitely down to go for a ride when your group is up here! Keep in touch!

Stevenc150 and hula Buell - I'll post pics ASAP!

BuddhaBuell - As long as I own a Buell, I don't think I can ever wipe that grin off my face! lol

Just went on a little ride yesterday with another bueller!

So cal vet- I go down there a few times a year-I'll let you know next time I'm shredding down there on hwy 1[up]

Also a welcome. Got an 06 XB9 with simular mods as yours. Live in Grass Valley (about 1hr from Sac). Once the good dry weather gets here, maybe a ride? I don't like the dark slick canyons, but there is great riding up here in the gold country when it dries out..[up]

Sounds good. There seems to be quite a few Buells around here in northern calif. I could plan a ride of about 180 mile loop with lunch/fuel stop out of Grass Valley in May, weather permiting (should be good then). I'm flexable, so anyone interested let me know what works for you, and we'll make it happen.
