new buell owner wondering

My brother, now a buell owner has a buell with k&n air filter and has just ordered a jardine rt-one exhaust slip on. Just wondering if the race ecm would be a must for the bike or if he would be ok without, if needed where can i find one, Thanks

Yes he will NEED something. Cheapest/best route would be to have xoptiinside.com remap the ECM. $100
