Hey guys, just bought a new all black Buell XB12Scg in early January. Been browsing the XB forum for a while now, and figured I'd finally drop in and say I'm officially a Bueller. As of right now, living in Lexington, Kentucky, I can't ride do to the cold ass weather and tons of snow. So, while the weather has been bad for riding, it has been good for moding. So far you guys have helped me decide to empty my wallet on
- Xenon lights (white and purple)
- Blue body lights throughout the bike (will try and get pics up soon) from Swint LED
- Jardine CF Pipe (sounds amazing by the way)
- K&N air filter
- EBR 2009 Pre-Programmed Race ECM
- Right and Left American Sport Bike CF aftermarket scoops (better cooling)
- Rizoma Dynamic mirrors (black)
- Dual beam headlight mod
I will eventually do the cheese-grater mod, but I think i've spent enough money for a while. Can't wait to get it back home and in the garage, and as soon as I do, I'll have a ton of pics put up, so far this machine is looking really good.

Welcome to the addiction! Dear LORD that's a ton of cash to drop all at once! Good luck on the mods and hit us up if you need help.

I definitely will. I got the bike for 7400 out the door so I had some extra cash to drop into it. Figured I might as well get the mods since I can't ride my bike right now anyways. Fortunately this forum is exploding with information and help on mods and technical issues. So far every question I've had has already been asked and answered but I'm sure I'll have something in the future. By the way not a lot of people know about SwintLED's these things are the brightest LED's I've ever seen, I'll get pics up as soon as possible, the bike looks amazing with them on. By the way my bike is in the shop as I'm a 22 y/o nursing student (one more semester thank god), I'm too busy to do the work myself. Fortunately I have worked hard all my life to afford nice things, so I'm making sure this is a damn nice ride. I got tired of my Harley Sportster so fast it wasn't funny, I don't think I'll ever own a cruiser again too slow and doesn't handle well at all. Plus I wanted something more like my dirtbike, but for street use, so I thought long and hard, and Buell seemed the best option for low end off the line power. Glad to be a Buell owner, can't wait to start riding it again (50 miles just wasn't enough!). PRAY FOR WARM WEATHER!

Another KY Bueller! Great, we've got to try to get us a good ride together sometime this year. Welcome to the Forum Brian and congrats on the Bike. Sounds like you're well on your way to making it your own.
PRAY FOR WARM WEATHER!
Reminds me: Drove by a church sign Sunday that said,"Would whoever is praying for snow Please Stop!!"

That is too good lol! Yeah my email is [email protected] if you want to email me or pm me on the boards i can give you more info about where i live and whatnot. I would love to go riding sometime. Near where I live they have Thursday Night Riders by the river near Winchester, hundreds of riders show up there every week, it is a good time if that interests you as well.

welcome Brian to the best damn Buell forum around, the amount of info and all the helpful members makes it a rewarding experience [up]

Mad respect for the mods and senior members that are always more the willing to help out a fellow Bueller (even if you phone them at work to ask a newbie question, thanks Dave [up])

we always look forward to seeing pics of your baby so have fun with your mods!
:)

Oh yeah forgot to add diesel-moto fender eliminator and bracket (here is to hoping the designer black matches the black on my bike!)
and the deluxe seat...now i think i am done for a while. As soon as the ecm is installed and everything gets put on and I'm able to ride the bike back to my house I will have pics up, by the way, anyone else here from Kentucky?

Ok guys Finally got my bike back and I finally, after three hours, got my fender eliminator installed. Hop you all Like.

Hope you all Like it, and after viewing my pictures I realized I had the keys in and the damn warning sticker on still...just removed sticker.

That's a knockout colour scheme! Welcome - nice ride!
We got 8 inches of snow north of Toronto today so I know how you feel...can't wait for Spring!

looks great Brian [up], nice tight package of dynomite!
if and/and or when I paint the frame & forks/swingarm it'll be the black too...so stealth :D

Yeah, I love the black, it is definitely stealth looking. Next winter, when I replenish my wallet, I'm getting my headers black ceramic coated. The bike will be really stealth then!

Hoping the led lights and double headlight keep me visible at night...don't want it to be too stealth haha.

Thanks for the comments, keep them coming ;)

Makin me miss my bike in storage! F@#kin snow! I have the same bike. Definatly the mirrors, exaust and possibly the coating of the pipes (blueing detracts from the look)
Where do you ride? I need to know, so nobody mixes us up!

Come on down to texas where were lucky if it snows at all and you can ride yearound. Plus we get to legally ride with a pistol in pocket
