Hey guys, my name is Alan and I'm from Indianapolis. I recently acquired an '03 xb9s and am really loving it! This is more of a project bike since its my second bike. I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself and to thank everyone in advance for any help you might provide me in the future! I've already read lots of great threads!

Here are some pics of the bike. Its a little rough (probably kept outside before) but I think with some TLC she can be back in shape in no time! I already bought most of the stuff to do a firebolt conversion. I'm trying to figure out how to do a full fairing conversion and a speed of color undertail/fender eliminator. Also, I took a look at the exhaust and its a little rusted and dented. Haven't decided if I want to upgrade it or just replace with stock. Any suggestions? I have to say, this bike handles, sounds, and feels great! I used to have a CBR1000rr and this puppy is right up there with it!

I'd upgrade to a Dean Adams Designs exhaust. Just put one on my 1190rx, wow.

I'm in Indy as well man if you ever need a hand. Get some good AMSOIL in her too, I'm a dealer and sell to buellers at cost.

I actually bought the stuff already, but that is a sexy seat! I guess I jumped the gun! Also, thanks for the heads up noone1569! I will definitely be contacting you in the next coming months for some oil and maybe some help!

Welcome bro, I'm new around here as well. Well new to buells not bikes. Ur definitely in good hands around here. Bike looks nice btw, doesn't look to beat, just a little neglected......little elbow grease and she will be good as new. Stay safe and keep us updated w ur mods.

I'd love to have your S stuff...I want to switch from R front to S front. If you want to sell HMU! And Welcome! I to bought a little bit of a fixer upper and have done much searching of the breadth of info available on this site. Good luck and ride safe!
