I think its time to freshen Buella up a bit. Justa quick photoshop idea on color, what'cha think?

I would go with an aftermarket airbox cover, something a little meaner looking though

I would never get rid of my Hero Blue.. but if I ever had an extra set of wheels I might attempt this color on them.

Looks great although I think it'd be better with silver or black wheels and windscreen(clear or black)

Are you gonna leave your frame & swingarm black, or paint them grey? (your frame is black, right?)
Switching plastics is one thing, changing the color of the frame & swingarm is little work (imho). You could go 2010 black with little effort...

My frame is the dark charcoal on the 08. Those photoshops are of an 08 white and blue just like mine so the frame color should be right on. I think I would like to match the plastics to the frame color as well as I can, if anything just a shade lighter. The other thing is I have black Matter decals on my frame so im not sure how that will look with the grey plastics

Nah I'm a minimalist. All those "Firebolt" stickers on the tail and the front fairing got taken off first thing. The only thing I left on is the airbox badge. When I move over to the grey, I will go with an aftermarket airbox and get rid of the badge altogether. I like the airbox with the two raised air rams, I may do some blue on the air rams in place of the Buell Badge.

I like the pearlessent blue/green, theres a GM color that looks like that i like it alot :D

As for as the grey, i think it would look cooler if u went with something that was way different than the frame, either a glitter bombish charcoal grey or theres a few of those greys that look almost liquid bcuz of the high pearl content, that and the blue green would be my pick.

Less is more! That looks really good and reminds me of (like said above) rrh481's bike.

I think it will go better with the darker frame and color match the plastics. I'm going to keep my white so I can swap back and forth. I want an aftermarket airbox cover and I think the rest I'll just pick up from airtech streamlining. Can I still order new blue windshields? Ill need one for the new front fairing.
