NEW CR Owner, relocate radiators?

Hey Guys, Picked up a super clean 2009 1125 CR yesterday. This will be my 4th buell in the past 7 years. I mainly bought and designed parts for the XB body.

I'm interested in figure out how to relocate or integrate the radiators on the CR. I plan on doing some extensive modifications.

The liquid cooled motor thing is new to me. Coming from all XB Buells, air cooled was simple and worked. If I could, i'd get rid of the cooling system all together! lol. What are your thoughts? Cheers.

That would be the fast way to destroy the motor. I suppose it all depends on your direction for mods. Best bet, forced air flow like the 1190 SX with the larger radiators. That's one of the biggest gripes I think I've seen is the heat the 1125 motor generated. The fans pulled air into the center rather than push it out and away from the motor and rider. Mine got fairly warm on occasion (1125R) but never to the point that I stopped riding it or had to bitch about the frame boiling my skin.

The 1190 setup got it right, both the RX and SX push the air out away from the bike.

Yeah I don't intend to remove them. That would be stupid, obviously. "If I could"

The Ronin moved it to a single radiator in the front, and it's volume/mass is similar to the 2 together.

And that would be the one, hideous example of what not to do in my opinion anyway, as far as relocation goes.

I like it! At least that's the best part of what owning a bike is about. We get to make it our own. I'll look into the newer EBR setup, maybe I can retrofit it.
