$200 per pound lol... I think jogging would be a better way to weight reduction for me lol.

I am curious about the xb pipe as well. Mostly because I want to know if it is going to be like the old style or if it is going to be something completely new.

I want that battery so bad, 9lb drop in bike weight is a LOT. With my steel sub frame I built, I'd be back to just under stock weight.

Yeah I was speaking at cost per pound of the battery, not the cost per pound lost.

Definately not for me but yeah thats pretty sweet for a racing perspective!

But for racing isn't it possible to eliminate the battery all together?

baja,

I bet this battery would be easier for you to hide in your set up as well since it is smaller that the stock ones.

Watching AMA the other day and Suzuki spends $30,000 on titanium bolts and what nots to shed 10lbs, wonder if they have this battery? Could save them $29,610 :D

extremelow. cars are the same way, but only with much higher price tags. believe me I know guys who've spent 10-25k in carbon fiber for like 50lbs of weight reduction on their race cars. the EBR battery looks cool though and cheap for weight reduction as far as cost.

Yeah I just make myself throw up if I feel my bike running slow or want to get better mpg:(

then put on some croks, bicycle shorts and a tank top and your dropping another 5-10lbs depending on your riding gear, sheesh weight reduction is easy, forget the battery:p

For sure thats a racing thing. If you take your bike to the track and watch your times, I say go for it, if your like me and just ride street, no need to worry about 9lbs.

165lbs since high school FTMFW

Never understood the need to spend a ton of cash to drop a few pounds, even at the track. A thousand bucks worth of pretty bolts to save 2 pounds? Jeeze, skip McDonalds on the way to the track and take a **** just before your race. Presto!! 2 pounds saved!! :p Wayne
