New Exhaust

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

The stocker wouldn't look too bad if it had a different style exhaust port. Those two little stainless nipples just look ridiculous to me but I like the way the stocker fills in all of the voids around the motor.

umm dude.. shouldnt the hp and torque curve be intersecting at ~5250 rpm on each pull?

The scale for the torque is different than the HP. If you look at 5250 on the torque curve (blue) its ~69. Plot that on the scale on the left and it intersects the HP curve.

yeah caught that after i posted. im like ohh man im gonna get flamed for that one. lol

Well, Dean i couldn't wait until tomorrow, I put the exhaust on after work, and I don't even think a human child could make me happier than I am now lol. the install was pretty straight forward. I put the buffing wheel on it for a few minutes and a sealer to keep the shine. Great fit, very well built, i will post a video as soon as possible. i love the look of the pipe, as for the sound... it makes my pants tighter... it sounds like a mad hot rod on steroids. in my garage at 3am the coffee can across the garage shook off the shelf and crashed onto the ground, so after the bike warmed up a bit i gave it a few long revs and I'm anxiously awaiting a Michigan dry spell, To wrap my rambling on, I'll post pics soon and I can't be any more happy with my purchase. It truely was Christmas come early :D

OHHH HELL YES! this pipe is amazing, so loud, it turns this bike into a beast, its almost scary ;)

Wow, that looks great!! I was really set on a drummer, but then I saw what it looked like on the inside in another thread. $1000 for a hollowed out can? I'm looking hard at the Keda now. Is it obnoxious loud? What did it cost you? Did you install the ebr ecm yourself as well? Thanks for your input, pics look great!

That one is $649 + shipping, add the race ecm for another $250 and get a 22 hp gain at 8000 rpm, 15+ hp at redline. 13 ft/lbs more torque at 8k rpm also, average of 8-9 ft/lbs more from 5k rpm on up to redline. The internals are identical to the RT-1, so the chart listed earlier shows the same power curve.

Total with for the pipe and ecm, $900 + shipping for proven/guaranteed gains. I think it comes out to a 13% gain over stock at redline.

I will be the first to admit it, it's not "perfect" for it's finish or even fitment (although it's adjustable) but it certainly will get the job done. I think the drummer sells for $980+ by itself.

the drummer can blow me lmao, after hearing this i can't imagine another pipe putting these numbers, and this sound, it give me goose bumps and with the pipe, no ECM (being delivered) it came up reallyeasy six time on me today, it turns heads and sets off car alarms, its not obnoxious loud but it is not suitable for small childrens ears or neighbors at 3am (found out the hard way) over all im glad i have this forum and the brains to help the little guy, not the mass produced (drummer, barker, jardine) i have the number 36 stamped into the can, and it truely is something to be proud of

I like the looks of his stuff blondefish. What are his prices like? Looks like it's all tig welds too.

very reasonable, i paid £320 for mine but i think he said he'd sold some to the usa as well, send him an email, yeah all tig welded, top notch stuff too:)

What does it sound like Blondefish? Loud? I don't want something really loud and it seems like all the exhaust out there for the 1125 are very loud.

I just put my RT2 on last night and took the bike out today. Cronce1125R, I know how you feel. This pipe is great and I do have the ECM and let me tell ya, they are a great pair. Yeah, the pipe is loud and I will have to find out if my neighbors are bothered by it sometime in the near future but as for me, I love the sound!

hell yes! did you ride the bike without the ecm, with the pipe on to notice any pains, im sure it will smooth out the power, where are you located? maybe we can make some local noise!
