There is also www.flexi-glass.com. It is available in the states through www.grandstanddesigns.com.

I know this is a Necro post so I am sorry for that.

But i just wanted to thank everyone who posted on this thread so I could find fairings for my XB9R

THANKS GUYS!

Just ordered the Upper Race Fairing myself, not the RR but the Race, not going for a full fairing.

The RR setup runs Upper: $158, Right Side: $142, Left Side w/ Intake adapter: $192, Belly $142. So $634 plus shipping total.

I have seen a kit from airtech at a dealership here in the charlotte nc area where I bought my xb12r. These guys are buell nuts and the kit looked nice if you like the fully dressed bikes. I like mine like a stripper. just the thong.

Hey xtremelow

How hard was it to put this kit on?
did you do it yourself?
and what year is your bike?

i had a sharkskins, and it was for an '03 and it didn't fit worth crap on my'04 but it looked good. xtreme i can not wait to see what you got in the works.

Dam x Way to change directions on your bike.
Have like 5 weeks to the buell ride at the Dragon you best bust some a$$ LOL

Here is an example of another kit i found it is by "flexiglass"

I emailed them about the kit for a 2003 XB9R and they said it would take some modifications
"There is a few mods that are necessary, the rad cooler has to be relocated so you would need longer lines and we make the oil cooler duct you need. The bike on our home page I'm sure you noticed is a xbr with the kit and you can see the vent on the left side that channels the air into the oil cooler. We also make a few items not listed like the ram airkit that goes over the tank as well as a tank that has vents to allow more air into the air box { pic }. Shipping would be 75-85.00, I need your address to get a exact but some where in that range."

The bike above isn't my bike, in-case anyone is confused about that.

I did order an Upper Race fairing and it is on the way, but I am in no way going to do a full fairing bike. I will stil have the S tail, Ss swing arm, and the Race Fairing will be chopped down like my past fairings.

I ordered the Race Fairing from Catalyst and to say the least I am not impressed with how much of a pain it was to order the damn thing. Then the dealer I went through told me it was $158 like the site says and about $25 for shipping. Well I got the charge to my account yesterday and it was for $214!! I contacted the dealer and he said I was billed $44 for shipping and $15 for a handling fee [down], Hell it would have been cheaper to order a Race Upper from Trojan-Horse and have it shipped from Europe, WTF.

Needless to say I wont recommend that dealer. I just hope the Upper is worth the price[smirk]

Insist they refund the diference that they failed to tell you about in the quote. A handling fee is 100% bullshit. Tell them you want a $31 refund your you'll return the product and contest the charges on your credit card or paypal.

Who is the dealer?
