Alright so obviously you can tell from my user name I come form the sport bike realm. Currently own a 05 GSXR 600 (DD), 05 GSXR 1000 (drag bike) and a current project of a Zx6RR road course dedicated track bike.

Lots of time invested into my little whore toys. But all in all saw a buell lightning the other night on my ride home and was like damn.... looks comfy, low to the road, and would be a nice daily.

So I posted my gsxr 600 up for sale hopefully sold come this Thursday. And gonna find me a buell lightning.

Here's the twist and nothing against yall, but i'm not dropping all the money I get on a buell. I'm here to see if anyone has a rolling frame, chassis, or a lightning with a blown engine they want to get rid of for cheap.

I'm a project guy and that Vtwin in the bike is gonna be gone anyways.... Been thinking of dropping a V-4 into it from an RSV4 and or a ducati twin.

We all no that SS bikes may not have low end but sure as hell got balls the rest of the way.

SO! If any of you have a buell with a blown engine or no engine or a project you can't finish and are within lets says 6 hours of PA. Let me know.

Here's some pics to keep yall happy, My new CZ wheels, and a few pics of the recent project.

I'm on the other side of the state. Good luck finding a Buell. Some of the 2003 XB9 models have been going for pretty cheap even if in good running order. Ones with blown motors often get parted out as they're worth more that way than as a whole.

Yeah I figure as much but some people tend not to want to part out and ship ect ect.

I mean... Unless the xb9's or even the blasts are the same frame that would work than I could fab up the subframe, remove the swinger, blah blah blah and go on with a project.

I've hunted and they are all within like 2,000-5500 and if I drop that much on a used buell i'd rather just put a deposit on a MV F3 800 or panigale 899...

Hopefully something turns up though.

Haha thanks man. Yeah I mean project would be first before buying a running one. Just because I get thoughts on projects and try to roll with them.
