Just bought my first Buell. 2005 XB12R. Absolutley love it.

Not new to bikes, I have a 2008 Dyna thats had a lot of motor work and a 96 Sporty thats in the process of getting a make over to a 100HP cafe racer.

Hoping to learn a lot from the Buell crowd..

The XB is currently stock, time to start research and find out what to go with..

Welcome! Performance-wise, how does the XB12R compare to the Dyna?

The Dyna has 110Hp and I think 103 Torque. The Buell revs faster but seems like the Dyna pulls harder from about 50-100MPH. Granted, I just got the Buell a week ago. Let me get used to riding it and it'll probably be a whole differnet story! Also, the Buell seems to load up at low rpms so I have to do a tune up on it.

What'll be interesting is that Sporty im working on. Thats going to be a missile.
