New guy looking for Lightning in NC

New guy here from nc I guess this is my intro as well, but looking for a lightning xb9 or xb12. I dont mind driving a couple hours either. Sold my RC51 last spring and would like a real world bike tne RC was like riding a torture rack around town. Not to mention how bad ass the lightnings look. Thanks

What city are you in? I'm near Raleigh and just picked up a nice XB9SX. I know of a XB12S with a Micron exhaust for sale in the Raleigh area. Not sure if its still available but it was a very nice bike but a little more then I wanted to spend which is why I went to a 9. If you are near me when you get one we will have to go on a ride sometime.

Vance whats going on, yea ive seen that bike your talking about on craigslist ive havent seen it in person but for the mileage i think he maybe asking a little much for it.

Yea thats why I didnt get that one. He would not budge on the price either. He actually works at a V-twin performance shop so it was very well maintained but he didnt have the chin spoiler and those miles were pretty high. It was the first one I looked at when I started looking. I also found one in Boone that the guy drove out here to let me look at it that was really nice. It was bone stock. I think it had a power commander on it but thats the only mod I saw. He had some title problems that he had to take care of back home but I ended up finding mine before he got them taken care of. He called me after I got mine and said it was taken care of and he was all good to sell but I was no longer interested. It was a yellow 03 XB9S with 10000 miles for 3500. If you are interested in any thing out this way let me know and I'll swing by and snap some detailed pics for you and check it out.
