Thank God I was able to get my hands on another Buell!!

My name is John. I'm from Texas. Just wanted to make a quick post as a new member. I've just made the switch from a k7 GSXR 600. Traded in my bike with 31,000 loving miles for a '06 XB9sx with 11,302 miles. The bike was converted into a "XB9r". It has a Firebolt triple clamp with a Firebolt front end and full.fairing race plastics. Came with aftermarket headers and a jardine pipe. Brand new wheels, too! Bodywork needs a sanding and repaint but the bike runs good. Gonna swap out the primary and engine oil tomorrow and then check all the wiring. Can't wait til this lil project is finished!!

This is my second Buell. I had a xb12r three years ago and missed it everyday. I had sold it because I was having engine problems and the front header kept breaking off the block. I missed the low end grunt of these bikes. No inline 4 will ever compare. Wish my buddies would understand me haha. I'll post pics soon of the bike. Just wanted to say hello!!

BTW, the Buell is doing her first trackday tomorrow morning!!!

before you sand and paint, sand and polish. The plastics are not painted originally, so no need to "re-paint".
