Welcome, you've got the best XB model IMO!

I also want to lower the bike an if anyone has any info on that that would be great.

First, I'd ask why? If you're genuinely too short for the bike (even with the sag set low & a re-profiled seat), it might not be the bike for you. If it's just that you're not comfortable unless you can get both feet flat-footed, I'd give it some time to see if you can't get used to it before going to a bunch of unnecessary expense that will result in changing your bike's geometry, and which may cause unintended handling issues.

I really didn't realize that there was going to be value you to these things so I just bought it an was going to mod it. Now you guys got me changing my mind. But lowing I will keep all the stock stuff. An that shouldn't hurt the value. I just thought there were going to be a 1,500 dollar bike someday so it was no big deal to me. But now you guys got me thinking.

This is probably a dumb question. But can someone tell me the dif. Between the xb12ss the xb12s an the Xb12 scg??.. The the seat laugh an height is that it??

Please, correct me if I am wrong...

SS - longest of all models, slightly taller I believe too. Has a longer swing arm, longer subframe to make the seat longer, and the frame is a little larger as well to hold a little more fuel (not 100% on this). I believe this had a white rear shock?

S - middle of the road. Shorter than the SS. Shares the same suspension as the R, same subframe as the Scg. Standard sized XBS. Had a blue rear shock?

Scg (might be a little biased of this one since I own one ) - Best. Buell XB. Ever! Has a lowered front and rear suspension, slightly smaller frame than the SS and S (I think). Shares the same tail section as the S. Can be identified as having a yellow rear shock.

Please make corrections accordingly.

You can lower your bike using the suspension off of a SCG model.
