Awesome, Wiggle! I'll try that! I know exactly what you're talking about. Buell #2 had the shift pattern reversed so I watched the owner as he adjusted it for me.

Why is a pic so important? I said I'm a chick, not a HOT chick on a bike! LOL! Sheesh.

Today is a short day at work so I will be detailing the Buell then taking it out for Farmers Market tonight and enjoy the sites and sounds. Thanks guys!

[up] cool bike. Seems like more and more women are getting into driving bikes (as opposed to riding as a passenger). the more the merrier!

Hi seajay!
I just don't want you to twist off the threaded portion of those little rod ends!! I did!! (And it didn't take much!). Just use caution and common sense loosening them! If it doesn't loosen the "right" direction, CAUTIOUSLY try the "wrong" way.....one end will loosen like a standard nut, (CCW to loosen), the other end will be CW to loosen! Fortunately for me, I have an MSC warehouse very closeby, and an account at work I can use! Better than waiting for dealership to get them! (AND cheaper/higher quality!). I hope you fun tonite! Be safe! Thanks for the pic!! Post more!! :D

LMBO Loki! That's funnny!

Thank you for all your kind words!

Wiggle: True that! I'll be careful!

I live up the road from American Sport Bike - too bad they don't have a store front. Would be awesome to visit.

I'll be checking back later. Off to do some paint repair and cleaning! :-D (gotta look sharp for tonight! ;-) )

Here is what I did to mine Click Here

I too was having shifting troubles. I adjusted the clutch and changed the geometry of my shift linkage. Helped my shifting a lot.

Okay. Problem solved. Loose primary chain. Shifting problem no more!

I've had this bike for 2 weeks now. 1,000 miles! :) This bike is so much fun!

Hey seajay

Yes, you do have frame pucks - I was looking at the wrong pic. The shift lever is easy to adjust. It's just a little time consuming if you have to keep adjusting and testing. Did you adjust the primary chain yourself?

I was looking at the wrong pic.

No worries! I'm still learning how to work all the stuff on this forum!

Did you adjust the primary chain yourself?
I did not adjust it myself because I didn't have the specs. The Buell/Harley guys did it. $10 :-D

Is there anything more awesome than a Buell?? Yes! TWO Buell's!!! A buddy and I had some fun riding today!
