So I have been checking this site out since I bought my bike and finally signed up and figured I would make an intro post. I live in Wisconsin and my 2009 Buell Lightning XB9SX is my 4th bike I've owned now. Its my first Buell and I'm pretty happy with it. I got it about a month ago from UKES Harley Davidson in Kenosha WI. I'm glad to see there is a good forum for these bikes to learn from. Thanks in advance guys and gals

Here are a few pics of the bike sitting at the dealership

Thanks, I was hesitant to purchase a 984 insted of the 1203 at first, but it has enough power for now. I am a huge fan of the color myself.

Awesome bike!

Now its time to take off the warning stickers, reflectors and chop the tail... :)

The tag, reflectors, warning stickers, hand guards, mirrors and belt guards are already off....lol. I'm looking into wider straighter renthal bars, a diesel moto tail, and an exhaust as we speak.

anrkizm95 has helped before with tail chops before pm him. It will be cheaper and be the same thing.

Definitely nice! Welcome to the forum!

My Renthal bars are one of my favorite mods on my bike. Subtle change but just what I was looking for...A slightly more aggressive stance. Go with the Streetfighter or the Ultra-low bars.

You may consider a right side scoop to keep her cool or one of our crash protection products or even our front pulley cover for a new look. See our site for more details.

If you ever need any help with the bike just ask and 9 times out of 10 (or more) someone here will be able to help you out. [up]

Keep the shiny side up!! :D

Thanks 50dro, believe me, I have already been all over your site. I will definitely be buying sliders from you in the near future. I have never owned a bike i haven't gone down on at least once, I ride extremely hard when I'm out with the boys.
