thanks for the warm welcome. bought the bike off my son, hes in the air force and had to relocate . bike was cutting out or dying when you moved the steering.he didnt have time to mess with it .so i got it tracked it down to the wire harness behind fairing right at the frame fixed it been using it for my everyday commuter . i have another bike for long rides , yamaha venture 1988 but still sweet ride,

i should have found this forum first would have made finding bad wire alot easier,already did the headlight mod whoever figure that out thanks pretty sweet

going to do muffler this winter, my goal is to have pipe on each side of muffler change out some of the inside pipes with none perforated pipe to get a deeper and slightly louder sound with out changing back pressure to much

i also think it needs a good set of spark plug wires
