I know it's my third one this year but a new bike is always exciting. Started the year off with my dad and I going half and half on a red 2008 Daytona 675. Did a few track days got the bug and got tired of sharing the bike and having to take turns bumping down to B group. So I went out and bought my 2009 1125R, and pops bought me out of the Daytona. The 1125 was a blast until it blew up on the last track day of the season. Fortunately it was fixed under warranty, but now I don't trust it, so its going bye bye. I was thinking of getting a 1K, but decided pops and I would have more fun battling it out on even bikes. So I bought a Blue 2008 Daytona 675 with 670 miles on it. The old man has no excuses now. :p

The triples are very popular and are a great track day investment.
Now for some race plastics...

Be careful, my buddy just blew one of these up running 160

I already have experience with this aboard the 1125R. I was lucky and it did it in the straight while the bike was upright. I don't hit the super speedways, so I will never see speeds that high. Button-willow is the fastest track we go to, I think 141 was the highest i saw last year in a turn they call Riverside.

Congrats.
I looked hard at the D675 for a replacment for my 1125r.
But in the end I wanted to power wheelie at will.:D

i was telling my girlfriend that this would be the only reason i would want a kid... to spend time wrenching and riding together. my luck i'll have a girl though lol.

you are very lucky you and your father share such a great common interest and use it to its fullest to spend time together. i wish my dad would even consider swinging a leg over a bike.

good luck and god speed!!

Crash protection is on except for the woodcraft covers. Cant say enough about my new exhaust, its awesome.

It better be awesome given how expensive the Akrapovic exhausts are. They're just silly pricey for the KTMs.

I paid 600 for the mid and muffler. I got it from a guy on 675.Net who bought the full system and only needed the headers.

That's not the big sister, that's your big wife and you're cheating on her. :D

P.S. I want to suck you off.
