Its every bit a sport bike. Just not a liter bike [smirk]
the 'r' yes, the 's' no :p

but indeed...can't compare a twin with a high reving liter ;)

The 's' and 'r' are the same bike. They just have different control/riding positions. And I'm with JWolk...I was probably a faster on my R6(granted i'm still not 100% used to the Buell), but I would pick My 12s over that R6 any day. I cant stop staring at it. My R6 was the fastest bike in the corners I've riden to this day, but was booooring. It really lacked what pours out of my 12s, personality. You can't help but turn heads when you ride down the street on that thing. It's the coolest looking, sounding, and feeling bike on the planet in my eyes. I may buy other bikes in my lifetime...but I will always have an XB12s in my garage. It's a f**kin' mans motorcycle.

yurka89, proper suspension setup and tire pressure is absolutely key with these bikes. i know when i've lost even the smallest bit of pressure in my tires, handling starts changing drastically.

and that's what makes them different...the 's' is a street bike, not a sports bike.
you are mistaking sporty/powerfull with sports.
the 'r' is a sports bike, but still not a race bike like the liter bikes as r6, r1, gsxr, etc

i think you mean feels faster...cause when you get used to the buell, you'll go faster in the corner without knowing it.

My "s" has clip-ons so it pretty aggressive.

I guess the only way I'll ever really know for sure is if I turned laps on both back to back. Dont get me wrong...I'm a Buell fan...I sold my R6 to convert to my XB...but I doubt it could hold on to the back of the R6. That bike was scary fast in the corners.

in corners, no problem, you'll even pass them by...but when you're out, they will pass you by [smirk]

but then again...like you said, we experiance riding like it is ment to be and the fun of it.
we ride the bike, the bike doesn't ride us. ;)

i'm not seeing the promblem I have tons of bikes. and one jap bike that will do circles around the cbr I have no problem jumping from my GSXR to the buell and going alot faster up the mountain in the curves. they both have the same tires, M3s. granted the GSXR will spank its ass on some long 120 mph and faster curves but anything tight, I'm taking the buell!!!!!!!!!
