Well i didnt take any pics but should of because you guys probably know the errors i got, installed that mono software then ecmspy and my ecu aint supported at all. I took it out just to look at it and it said RACE ECU or something like that. So i guess its EBR Racing ECU and the dude i got the bike from wont pick up the phone, he told me he had the software that came with it. Im just gonna go take a ride up there and see if hes home. I couldn't even reset the TPS which should of worked that's what the guy from READYXB told me when i bought the cable that i would at least be able to do that.

When you connected with ECMSpy for Mono, which ECM type did you choose on the Serial Port selection dialog? What was the ECM type it reported (ex: B2RIB, BUEGB) after connecting? If you got a timeout or other error, please report that also.

Regarding the TPS reset, it is supported! But you must FIRST be able to connect via some piece of software.

my 08 will connect with ecmspy. Alot of people mess up their ecms because they don`t know what they are doing,and then blame it on the programs.First thing is make a backup copy, at least 2 times, before you play with the tuning. first thing I learned with tunerpro was how to delete the program (it was an accident becuase I didnt know what I was doing), but I had a backup and fixed it.

Hi ztied, telefanaticx has an EBR ECM for pre-2008 (DDFI-2) model Buells. It is most likely a B2BIC, which is not listed as being supported by either Tunerpro or ECMSpy for Mono. However, what I am trying to help him with is the TPS reset, which can be done, but I need info back from him first.

Don't use a torque wrench on your drain plug. The specs are wrong in the manual.

I will connect the laptop again sometime tonight when I get out of work and see what errors I get. This is so strange, I have this gas station next to me that has 91 gas wit zero ethanol in it, I used it twice and every time after I use that gas station my bike back fires like crazy if I go on the highway and try to go more then 70mph...Im already thinking there is water in that gas or my bike just doesn't like it. Because if I use 89 or 93 at any other gas station with that 10% eathanol it rides perfectly fine.

What program are you using again? A lot of connectivity issues are driver related or a dud cable.
