New rear tire and front wheel bearings installed today. The shop owner welded a piece of metal to the old bearing while in the wheel. He was then able to poke out the bearing quite easily. Pretty nifty and only took five mins.
I'm not worried about it. There was no slag and no marks on my wheel. Total time actually on the trigger was about four seconds. He's a good dude who knows his stuff and since I'm 1400 miles from home where my own tools are, this is the guy I trust. I recommend him to anyone in sw fl.
