Is anyone aware of a place to buy a kit that does all that since this one seems to look completed fabricated from scratch. I'd like to have that on my Buell Lightning.

You can buy them already done. The one from Americansportbike is a stock one chopped. I believe you send yours in and they send you one already done. Around $300...its really not hard to do yourself, took me about 3 hours start to finish, but I broke it up over a few days because I have no patience. Its really easy to do..theres actually a "how to" post here on how to do it.

American sportbike sends you a complete new one. You do not have to send yours in, but yes the one they sell is a nicely chopped stock one.

I agree that the price is kinda steep on them though...
