New purchase what to look for?

I'm about to buy an 01 buell blast, going to look and test ride tomorrow. Is there anything that I should look for? Any common problems to watch out for that are specific to this bike? Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help, I'm gonna take a good look at it and just wanted an idea of common pitfalls of this bike. I know it's a beginner but for the price I don't think it can pass it up

what did you mean? like they dont like getting upgrades or they dont take well to minor changes?

there are more factory problems to fix - ( more time in the shop till figured out and more money to get up to newer model reliability ) but once done they are pretty good bikes
