My sister got a new scooter so I thought it would be pretty funny to gear up and go for a ride. LOL!

ya know I don't think I've ever seen someone wear gear on one of those. Normally flip flops, tank-tops/tees, shorts, and a half helmet. I cringe every time I see one

lil over-geared ya think eh

Pavement doesn't know what you are riding. Still hurts just as much.

I rode a older Honda Elite scooter last week for the first time. A little weird. Seems a bit unstabil to me compared to a regular bike. Fun all the same. I was just hoping no one I knew saw me on it.

My wife is really into mopeds. So goes out riding with a group of kids usually once a week. I did have to give her a hard time for going out riding in a ratty old pair of converse last thursday though. At least she wears jeans and a helmet, and can only go 35mph.

She brought me one home in awful shape last summer as well that I cleaned up over winter. Notice the fuel-in-frame and exhaust mounted under the engine for mass centralization :D

Ooh, and it'll wheelie no problem thanks to the extra 20ccs, reed valve and giant mikuni carb I added. I've only gotten to actually ride it once or twice though before it started running goofy and haven't taken the time to figure out why.

Hence the full face helmet and all my gear. i didn't want anyone to recognize me. lol!

it is a little awkward to ride. no changing gears or anything. kinda strange.
