I bought a 500$ Shoei, have to say, one of the better purchases I ever made. Leaps and bounds above the 250$ one I have. That helmet is pretty wild though. Wonder if it will ever be DOT...

I wonder if you could use the rear mirror helmet thingie as an reason for no fairing mounted mirrors if pulled over by a cop?Bitter rod?I could think of a few nicer skid lids to spend $600 on though.

I have the Simpson Outlaw Bandit. They look really cool and different I think. Riding around town I get all kinds of looks. With my full black suit and black bike it looks pretty cool imo. But as far as feel and construction, they fall way short of the Arai or AGV I have. If my toe touches a track the simpson is left at home. No good at speed.
