Just got some new Mich PP 2ct mounted. Never had new tires before are there any special break in tactics? Or things I should know before riding ?

Be gentle. New tires are notoriously slippery. I generally wait 100 miles before I start laying into them heavy.

Yep, learned this one the hard way...At least 100 miles... I was told go about 50-60 miles of basically straight line only (obvious a city turn or whatever is ok) just no twisties or anything that you really have to lean for. I learned on some other forum too that guys are scuffing up their tires before hand with "Brillo pads" and water... I did it to my front tire but haven't ridden with it on yet (I spilled when I replaced my first rear tire last year, bruised pride more than anything).

Ride safe.

one of the first thiogs I did was to was them very good with Dish soap, don't do the bike just the tires, as it will strip off any wax you have on the bike, but thats exactly what you want removed from the tires. They have a Mold release on them that was sprayed on the surface of the mold so they will pop out without any trouble. and just ride her easy, for a 100 or so miles.

New tires are WAY slippery, just ride very deliberate and take turns gently. Depending on outside temp I usually go 50-60 miles, but when I get new tires in winter (In Phoenix) I wait about 100 or so until I go nutty.

Also, avoid water. I got tires put on a month ago, a guy left the same time I did with new tires and hit a small puddle on his turn out of the shop and ate it hard.

Fock - WOT is definitely the way to go. There's only one way to get that wax off and that's by burnin it.
