Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Just went and found that reference to other switches on another forum - I have no idea how accurate this is so you would need to do a visual match. You would also need to make sure the HD supplied part wasn't cheaper in your neck of the woods.

Buell front brake switch p.n. Y0810.9 ('04+ XB, '96-'99 Tubers) is the same as:
Suzuki 57460-17C01
Suzuki 57460-17C00
Kawasaki 27010-1170
Kawasaki 27010-0025

Nice guys, thanks for the help...
boy do I feel like a cheap bastard, I just took the front brake switch off, drilled through the plastic rivets with a 5/64" bit and cleaned the contacts, put it back together, gave it some adhesive and viola, front brake switch works... would have shelled out the 10 bucks for a new one, but I know there not gonna be open on sunday and I have to ride at night, feels better having at least one brake switch working... thanks for all of your help guys, I'll be back on here in the morning with some other dumb questions:)

Cheap bastard? - nah, resourceful bastard. :)

I would buy a new switch, put it in the shelf 'just in case' and then try and squeeze a lifetime out of the repaired one. That's sort of the opposite of the 'cheap bastard'.

Good job. Now you are just that little more acquainted with Buells.......
