New to Buell

Will be picking up an 03 XB9R as a project bike in the near future. What are the common problems and mods for these bikes? What is the most bang for the buck parts to look for? Thanks in advance!

Leaky rocker covers are pretty common. Just search "buellxb ....... " for any questions you have. Guaranteed to be answered already

A lot depends on how it was/is cared for. Do your general maintenance. It's an '03 so you'll probably want to look into the Kickstand & Belt upgrades. Download ECMSpy from the downloads section of Buellmods.com and buy an ECMSpy cable off of Xoptiinside.com. (Handy for trouble shooting engine codes & modifying your ECM for optimal running). Go to the top of this page under Service Manuals and grab you a Service manual which is very useful. Post up with pics once you get your ride and welcome to the Buell fam.
