New to buells

im looking at buying a xb12r and was wanting to know more about them. Can anyone give me some info, thanks

that's a little vague...I know they top out at about 148 stock. Help us a little bit. I assume you have already read the specs on buell.com, what would you like to know about them?

They corner very well, but sit a little high so if you are less than 5' 9" or so it may be tough to touch the ground.

they rock jsmith, but if youre planning on wheelies and stoppies you might want to get a chain driven bike. You probably already know they arent the fastest. The only other caution would be if you are going to be sitting in traffic often, they are hotter than hades to sit on.

im just wanting to know what people think of the bike, and if there are any real problems to look out for. the bike im looking at is a 2003 with 8000 miles. im just looking for something that is both comfortable and exciting to ride

i think the 03's have a discontinued belt/pulley design. can someone confirm for da man? I'de vote for comfy and exciting.

Too bad the Jap manufacturers dont do test rides like Harley does. I can honestly say thats the only thing I like about Harley, they do test rides.

well you came to the right place for opinions on a buell they rock and are the best bike ever... go to a honda suzuki yamaha or ducati forum and you will prolly get a completely different answer but for here they rock and thats the right answer
