New to me Crossroad Bars

Well my BF, Xtremelow did some selling and trading and I got a set of Crossroad Zero Degree bars out of the deal.....yea for me.

Lets here what you guys think.

All the stock cables work hust fine?

They look great, I will miss them ;-)
Though I do love the R's feel for my riding style, it completes my full R conversion on my Ss.

They are great bars for the lightnings, black out those trees and the tail section and you will be all set. Nice Black,silver,red combo, would look sweet.

Yeah lookin pretty good. And all stock cables worked fine just had to extend the clutch cable a little and run the throttle cable and brake wire in front of the fork tube instead of behind.

Those look like the 1" extension crossroads. I rode kajers bike with them, they felt really wide to me. What do you think?

I rode with them and they do feel wide but are comfy and mean feeling at the same time.

Still sit up a little higher than the R bars but not much.

Sara hasn't gotten to ride it more than just around the apartment area but she said she like how they feel she just needs to get used to them.

Well you could cut them, or maybe Al at ASB will trade you.

Not sure if they were extended bars. I bought them from typeone who bought them from Point doc. So you would have to ask him. They have been around the block!
You might be able to take about a inch off. Here is a closer pic of when they were on my bike.

They are much wider then the R, that is the first thing I noticed when i switched. Took me a a little while to get used to it.

Yeah they are the extended ones. The regular length version leaves reservoir flush with the inner bar.

That seems to clean up the look of the bike even more. Very nice.

I CNC'd an adapter plate for them to raise the bars up 0.25", is it still around?

buellchick, where did you get the red plastics?

I ask because not to long ago I sold my '04 red plastics.

It would be a unique story if both the crossroad bars and plastics came from my bike!

i actually gave the adapter to one of my buddies who has a scg with crossroads. So yes they are still being used.

She got the plastics from me.
I bought them from a fellow bueller on the forum here to have an extra set but that was back before I had my old blue Firebolt totaled out.
