It must have taken me 3 hours to mount that tire because as I was lining it up I was puzzled about that.
So I called Michelin to figure it out cause thats what I thought, but the directional arrows were pointing the way the tire is mounted now.
They said that particular tire...pilot 3's on the front is like that due to braking in wet slick surfaces and the backs are normal due to traction. The actual loads for grip is different for the front as it does its gripping for stopping and the rear does its gripping for acceleration.
