How does it handle now cause that's not stock rake. Ps my smiley face made a full recovery no need to send flowers. :p

O yeah if I could make one comment if your frame was contoured up a little more to get rid of that gap below your tank and engine that would make it look extremely clean. Its just a suggestion. [cool]

An update to my XB - went with XBR clipon and a Yamaha r6 Tail

I REALLY like the look of that R6 tail on there. I have to admit, I never considered the idea of using tails from other manufacturers. I've seen Firebolt tails on a Lightning, but this looks better I think. Was this a pretty straight forward swap or were there a lot of custom pieces needed? Thanks, I might have found my winter project. :)

First track day, learned a lot and had a blast....even though I had a small spill in a turn. Not this Turn ;)

Jcastro4089 - For the most part is was straight forward - 2007 R6 - Subframe, Plastics, Tail Light, Seat and Buell XB-R Seat - Custom Build Battery tray, some solid aluminum for the support and lots of cutting - grinding and test fitting - Then the 2 seats were cut and plastic welded together and the covers Stitched together until I get some time to get the seat recovered. - but it rides great - and people have no idea what it is. But they didn't when it was stock either.

Here is one from the latest photo shoot thanks to my friend, Kris Koo (www.kriskoo.com). He's amazing and in the Jacksonville, FL area if anyone is interested in a photographer!

EricZ - Can we get a picture from the front? I'm really curious to see what your headlight setup looks like. From this angle is doesn't look stock. Thanks.

Yup, it's a "small" turbo:). Slightly on the big side for the displacement/rpm but perfect for the boost/power I'm putting out. Here is one with a better front view:

Was just wondering about you EricZ the other day ... Was asking my self "I wonder what his bike is like these days"... Long time we did'nt hear from you what's the latest news ? More boost ? :p

Its doing really good. I'm at about 18psi now and have seen 185hp & 164ft-lbs on the dyno. I'm working on getting the clutch to hold up and/or keep the back tire from slipping on the dyno as I can't tell which is happening but the numbers on the dyno aren't telling the whole story. I've pushed it up to 24psi and the motor is extremely happy but, without being able to transfer all the power to the dyno wheel, I can't be sure my tune is perfect or how much power it is making. A friend is getting a brand new Dynojet 250ix in the next month or so and I look forward to using it to really see what my bike can do!

Not totally new to the site but I thought I should add at least one picture of my 2005 xb12r. Thanks for all the help I've gotten thus far.
