I was a coal miner for quite some time . underground. I was a roof bolter. I got hurt in a roof collapse a few years ago.left arm and spine...( neck injuries.) I tried a few times to go back underground, but at 40 with injuries I couldn't hang anymore...sure miss it alot! Worked for Arch Coal...Viper Mine. Only about 400' down. now im just a lowly maintenance engineer for Hilton Hotels.
